Picked my copy of the Illustrated Edition of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and I am already in love with this stunning illustration of Sirius Black (my fave character from the series).
I just read an article by a male author where he is trying to give advice to romance authors on how to write believable men. Basically his advice is to make them dumber and hornier. Like bruh…I don’t think you understand the point of romance novels.
We know what standard, low effort, uninteresting men are like in real life (trust me. We knooooow)
Sorry if being held to a higher standard makes you feel bad :(
😂😂😂🤣😕
Please share the link with me if you can. I need it.
LMAO
I… I’m not sure I can find GIF that is facepalm-ing hard enough to represent how I feel about this.
Where’s that one with the guy smashing his head into the bar?
Yeeeeeah I really don’t feel like going to romance novels for ~~~~realistic men~~~~when the ones I know and have to interact with are quite enough, thanks.
He also said that if romance writers get to write such unrealistic fantasy traits in their heros such as attentiveness and thoughtfulness, then male authors should be “allowed” to write all their female characters as vapid, submissive women who immediately obey men “with a giggle and a jiggle.”
Because obviously those are comparable.
Yup. Okay. I’m Done. Fini.
I’m going to buy a big ol’ empty inn on the Coast of Maine, and turn it out as comfortable as possible. And you are all expected for sanctuary (and tea) in December.
